Message from Guterres before the General Assembly: We must build hope with determination
New York, September 22 (Hibya) – United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, in a statement ahead of the UN General Assembly, emphasized the need to confront global challenges without losing hope, highlighting the difficulties faced in different parts of the world.
“In a world that at times feels hopeless, we must build hope with determination,” said Guterres, stressing that the struggle for a better future for all people must not be abandoned.
Guterres’ message came ahead of the 79th UN General Assembly in New York, against the backdrop of crises, inequalities, and global risks facing the international community.
