Metsola: Hate and violence have no place in a Europe of freedom and respect
Brussels, July 26 (Hibya) - Following the attack in Berlin, European Parliament President Roberta Metsola expressed her support for the victims and their families. Metsola said Europe would stand united against hate and violence.
European Parliament President Roberta Metsola issued a statement regarding the attack that occurred during the Christopher Street Day (CSD) event in Berlin.
In a post on social media, Metsola said they stand with the victims of the attack, their loved ones, and everyone who attended the Christopher Street Day event.
“Hate and violence have no place in a Europe of freedom and respect,” Metsola said, adding that Europe will continue to stand united against those who seek to spread fear and division.
