Metsola: Journalists should never be targeted
Brussels, August 11 (Hibya) – European Parliament President Roberta Metsola said that the killing of journalists under Israeli bombardment in Gaza must stop.
Metsola stressed that journalists should never be targeted.
Noting that the killing of journalists in Gaza under Israeli bombardment must end, Metsola said: “The international community must double its efforts to secure a ceasefire and the release of hostages as a step toward lasting peace and stability. Escalating tensions is not a solution.”
Metsola stated that the European Parliament will continue to fight for press freedom and humanity everywhere.
