Tsahkna: The humanitarian crisis in Gaza is catastrophic
Tallinn, August 11 (Hibya) – Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna said that the humanitarian crisis in Gaza is catastrophic and that urgent aid must be delivered to those in need.
Foreign Minister Tsahkna stated that at the EU Foreign Ministers' meeting, he emphasized that if an aggressor achieves what they want, it will only increase their appetite.
He said that a policy of appeasement would repeat the mistakes of 1938, which led to greater aggression, and added: "We must stand firmly against any sharp changes to borders. Estonia firmly defends Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity."
Tsahkna stressed that Ukraine must have the right to choose its own path, including NATO and EU membership, and added: "The humanitarian crisis in Gaza is catastrophic and urgent aid must be delivered to those in need. Hamas must release all hostages."
