Istanbul, July 6 (Hibya) - Commodity markets showed mixed performance during the trading day. Precious metals and agricultural commodities posted gains, while the energy sector recorded limited movements.

The price of gold rose 1.01 percent to 4,167.20 per ounce, while silver gained 1.88 percent to 62.215. Copper edged up 0.02 percent, while U.S. soybeans advanced 2.08 percent and U.S. wheat gained 1.10 percent.
In the energy sector, WTI crude oil rose 0.22 percent to $68.84 per barrel, while Brent crude slipped 0.03 percent to $72.10. Natural gas prices fell 1.48 percent, while heating oil gained 0.63 percent and RBOB gasoline rose 1.37 percent.
