Moldova condemns Russia’s air attacks
Chisinau, February 3 (Hibya) – Moldova’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Moscow’s targeting of energy infrastructure during freezing cold shows a lack of interest in diplomacy.
Moldova’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement regarding Russia’s attacks on civilian settlements and energy infrastructure across Ukraine.
Highlighting the humanitarian dimension of the attacks and the harsh weather conditions, the statement said: “Russia is once again using winter as a weapon. Overnight, more than 60 missiles and over 500 unmanned aerial vehicles struck cities across Ukraine, leaving people without heating at -20 degrees. This shows that Russia has no genuine interest in diplomacy.”
The ministry noted that pressure on Moscow and support for Ukraine must continue without interruption.
