Most Asia-Pacific stock markets ended the day lower
Istanbul, July 17 (Hibya) - Selling pressure dominated Asia-Pacific markets on the final trading day of the week. Stock markets in Japan, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Australia declined, while India's Nifty 50 index posted gains.
Most Asia-Pacific stock markets ended the trading day in negative territory.
In Australia, the ASX 200 index fell 0.79 percent to 8,770.80 points, while Japan's Nikkei index lost 5.64 percent to close at 63,063.51 points.
Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index (HSI) traded 1.98 percent lower at 24,514.29 points, while China's Shanghai Composite Index fell 1.64 percent to 3,818.594 points.
The only index in the region to record gains was India's Nifty 50, which rose 0.61 percent to 24,220.30 points.
