Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, regarding the recognition of the State of Palestine by the UK, Canada and Australia, said: "After the horrific massacre of October 7, I have a clear message to the leaders who recognized the Palestinian state: You are rewarding terror with a tremendous prize."

Claiming that there will be no Palestinian state west of the Jordan River, Netanyahu added: "For years, despite enormous pressures from inside and outside, I prevented the establishment of this terrorist state. We did this with determination and with the wisdom of statesmanship. Moreover, we doubled the Jewish settlements in Judea and Samaria and will continue on this path."

Netanyahu also stated: "The response to the attempt to establish a terrorist state in the heart of our country will be given after my return from the United States. Stay tuned."
