Netanyahu stated: “Today, we all honor the heroes of Israel — our sons and daughters who sacrificed their lives so that we could live here. My wife Sara and I embrace the families of the fallen, the families of the hostages, those who have returned, and those we will bring back home. We are determined to bring back every single one of them.”

Emphasizing that these heroes from all sectors of Israeli society form the foundation of the state, Netanyahu added: “The October 7 massacre was a barbaric attack. Our enemies sought to destroy us but ran into the iron wall of the Israeli people. We rose as one, fought courageously, and we will prevail.”
