The Venezuelan government rejected and condemned the U.S. military aggression.

Following reports of explosions in Caracas and other locations, the Venezuelan government condemned the action, describing it as a “very serious and grave military aggression” against various regions of the country.

In the statement, the United States was accused of carrying out attacks on Caracas and the states of Miranda, Aragua, and La Guaira; it was noted that President Nicolás Maduro declared a state of emergency and ordered all national defense plans to be implemented “at the appropriate time and under appropriate conditions.”

After numerous reports of explosions in various places, many nearby residential areas were left without electricity.
