Orban: We reject the United States of Europe
Budapest, February 10 (Hibya) - Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban emphasized that they will continue to prioritize their country's national interests by rejecting the United States of Europe.
Hungarian Prime Minister Orban stated that Brussels plans to move away from the idea of an Europe consisting of sovereign nations and establish a centralized structure.
He pointed out that a centrally managed system would reduce support for farmers, decrease the number of small businesses, eliminate price reductions in public services, and lead to the transfer of power to foreign multinational corporations. "We reject the ‘United States of Europe’ and will continue to put Hungarians first," said Orban.
