Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, met with ECO Secretary General Dr. Asad Majeed Khan in Ashgabat.

As Pakistan prepares to assume the chairmanship of the ECO Council of Ministers (2026–2027), the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance reaffirmed the country’s commitment to working with the ECO Secretariat and all Member States to promote regional economic integration, connectivity, and prosperity.

Dar also reiterated Pakistan’s support for ECO Vision 2025 and suggested that the ECO Secretariat begin working on the next updated version, ECO Vision 2035.
