Pavel: Russia’s war has fundamentally changed Europe’s security order
Prague, November 5 (Hibya) – Czech President Petr Pavel said that Russia’s war against Ukraine has fundamentally changed Europe’s security environment.
President Pavel stated that Europe’s security environment, already challenged in recent years by the pandemic, the energy crisis, and increasing cyberattacks, has been fundamentally transformed by Russia’s war against Ukraine.
He emphasized that countries must now be better prepared for military and cyber threats, as well as disinformation campaigns aimed at creating uncertainty in society. “That is why I am pleased with the existence of platforms such as ‘European Values’, which provide a space to discuss strategies to counter these security threats,” Pavel said.
