The Ministry stressed that the decision of the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia to recognize Palestine was courageous, consistent with international law and the resolutions of international legitimacy, and stemmed from their determination to end the occupation, achieve peace, and ensure security, stability, and prosperity for the region and the world.

The Ministry confirmed that the State of Palestine and its legitimate government are ready and willing to establish the strongest and most sincere relations with these countries at all levels.

The Ministry emphasized that the recognition of the State of Palestine by countries means the acknowledgment of the just and legitimate rights of the Palestinian people and the protection of the two-state solution from the dangers posed by genocide, starvation, displacement, and annexation crimes committed by the occupying forces against our people.

It also called on states that have not yet recognized the State of Palestine, especially the United States, to begin this recognition process, to abide by international law and the advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice, and to stand on the right side of history by ending the injustices against the Palestinian people and ensuring their right to self-determination like other peoples and nations of the world.
