Pavel: Today we are playing drums at Hrady to make children’s voices heard
Prague, 19 November (Hibya) – Czech President Petr Pavel stressed in his statement on the World Day for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect that not every child has the chance to grow up in a safe environment.
President Pavel emphasized that many children do not have the opportunity to grow up safely. He stated that a symbolic drumming event was held today at Prague Castle (Hrad) to draw attention to child abuse and mistreatment, noting that the purpose of the event is to make children’s voices heard.
Pavel said: “Unfortunately, not all children have the chance to grow up in a safe environment. That is why today, on the World Day for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Harm, we are playing drums at Hrady so that their voices can be heard.”
