In his statement, Pavel said that they paid tribute to the memory of tens of thousands of people who lost their lives because of Nazi ideology and emphasized that the past must not be forgotten. Pavel noted that hate speech, the normalization of evil, and attempts to rewrite history should not be ignored, stressing the importance of societies learning lessons from the past.
