Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna made statements regarding Ukraine and possible dialogue processes with Russia within the scope of the Lennart Meri Conference.

Minister Tsahkna argued that under the current conditions, the negotiation process was not appropriate, saying, “Now is not the time to talk or negotiate. It is time to put pressure on Russia.”

Pointing out that there has been no change in Russia’s war objectives, Tsahkna stated that the international community should adopt a stronger stance.

Tsahkna also emphasized, “Russia will only change its course when it realizes that victory is unattainable and that time is no longer on its side.”
