Petro calls on the world: The UN must convene with Venezuela on the agenda
Botoga, Jan. 3 (Hibya) – Colombian President Gustavo Petro called on the UN Security Council to convene with Venezuela on its agenda.
President Petro recalled that Colombia has been a member of the UN Security Council since yesterday and said the Council should be convened immediately to assess allegations of attacks against Venezuela.
Petro also said that, for security and coordination along the Venezuela border, the PMU has been activated in the city of Cucuta and the operational plan regarding the border line has been put into effect.
