Pezeşkiyan: Free access to information is a right of all people, not just a certain class
Yerevan, July 16 (Hibya) – Iranian President Masoud Pezeşkiyan declared that free access to information is a right for all people, not a privilege for a specific class.
President Pezeşkiyan stated that the government is committed and obliged to provide free, high-quality, and inclusive internet access.
He emphasized that the recent decision by the Supreme Council of Cyberspace was intended to support the digital economy, not to impose restrictions. “I oppose any decisions or practices that promote the use of VPNs and increase digital insecurity,” he said.
