Putin: The development of the nuclear triad remains an absolute priority
Moscow, 23 February (Hibya) - Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated Russians on Defender of the Fatherland Day and stated that the development of Russia’s nuclear triad will continue to remain an absolute priority.
Putin said that Russia will continue to increase the potential and combat readiness of its Armed Forces, strengthen the army and navy in light of the international situation, and develop its nuclear triad as a guarantee of the country’s security.
In his video message, Putin stated, “The development of the nuclear triad, which guarantees Russia’s security and ensures effective strategic deterrence and balance of power in the world, remains an absolute priority.”
Putin also described Russian soldiers as the backbone of the state and recalled that representatives of all the country’s peoples are heroically defending national interests in the special military operation.
