Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned Iran’s attack targeting buildings in Bahrain where personnel of the Qatar Emiri Naval Forces were present.

The attack was described as a clear violation of the sovereignty of the Kingdom of Bahrain and a direct threat to the country’s security and stability.

Qatar emphasized its full solidarity with Bahrain, noting that targeting facilities where forces operating within the joint security structures of Gulf countries are stationed represents a dangerous escalation.

The ministry also reported that the personnel of the Qatar Emiri Naval Forces present in the targeted buildings are safe and that no injuries were reported.

Qatar stated that its embassy in Bahrain is closely monitoring the situation of the personnel in coordination with the relevant authorities and that necessary measures have been taken to ensure their safety.
