Qatar discusses regional developments with Türkiye and Lebanon
Doha, September 2 (Hibya) - Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani held phone calls with Türkiye’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan and Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam. The talks focused on bilateral relations and regional developments.
Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Al Thani held separate phone calls with Turkish Foreign Minister Fidan and Lebanese Prime Minister Salam.
According to statements from Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the talks covered bilateral cooperation and steps to further develop these relations, as well as the latest developments in the region.
The discussions also addressed diplomatic initiatives aimed at reducing tensions, joint coordination, and strengthening regional security and stability.
Al Thani said Qatar supports diplomatic efforts aimed at ensuring freedom of maritime navigation and reaching a comprehensive agreement that would achieve lasting peace in the region.
