US continues naval blockade against Iran
Washington, September 2 (Hibya) - The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that as of September 2, US forces, as part of the blockade against Iran, had diverted 86 commercial vessels, disabled 3 vessels and boarded 2 vessels.
CENTCOM said the US Navy continues to enforce the naval blockade against Iran.
According to a statement posted on CENTCOM’s social media account, as of September 2, US forces had diverted 86 commercial vessels, disabled 3 vessels and boarded 2 vessels as part of the blockade.
The statement said the operations were carried out to ensure enforcement of the blockade.
