According to a statement by Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani held talks with the European Union's Special Representative for the Gulf, Luigi Di Maio.

During the meeting with Di Maio, who is visiting Qatar, the parties discussed cooperation relations between the State of Qatar and the European Union, as well as ways to support and strengthen them.

The meeting also addressed the latest regional developments and issues of mutual interest, particularly diplomatic efforts aimed at enhancing security and stability in the region following the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
