Zelensky: We are expanding the funding program for combat units
Kyiv, June 30 (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that, based on a report submitted by Pavlo Palisa following meetings with combat brigade commanders, the direct funding program for military units will be expanded.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that, following a report submitted by Pavlo Palisa after meetings with combat brigade commanders, the direct funding program for military units will be expanded and additional resources will be allocated in July.
Providing details of the direct funding program, Zelensky said: "Pavlo Palisa submitted a report following his meetings with combat brigade commanders. First, the direct funding program for military units is working well. We will expand this program. Starting next month, the amount of funding allocated to every battalion carrying out combat missions will be increased."
Highlighting that the allocated resources have accelerated operational capabilities and outlining the new budget plans, Zelensky said: "This funding program, launched last year, has enabled brigades to speed up the procurement of drones and other essential equipment. Now every combat battalion will receive more funding, and separate additional funding will also be introduced for artillery units operating in combat zones and corps-level units carrying out combat missions."
Referring to stability in personnel planning, Zelensky concluded: "Secondly, the guaranteed monthly personnel allocation program for combat brigades has also proven effective. Since its introduction in December 2025, the program has achieved a stable level of reinforcement for brigades."
