Saar: I thank Asprille for his visit and his speech at the synagogue
Tel Aviv, September 13 (Hibya) – Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar expressed his pleasure over the visit of Colombian President Abelardo de la Espriella during Rosh Hashanah.
Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar said that the Colombian leader's speech at the Beth-El Synagogue in Barranquilla moved them deeply.
Highlighting the importance of the visit, Saar said, “My dear friend, President of Colombia Abelardo de la Espriella; thank you for your visit during Rosh Hashanah and for your moving speech at the Beth-El Synagogue in Barranquilla.”
Drawing attention to relations between the two countries, Saar said, “The Colombian people have elected an inspiring leader. The Jewish people and the State of Israel have gained a true friend and partner.”
Saar concluded his statement by saying, “God bless Colombia!”
