Saar spoke with Thai Foreign Minister Phuangketkeow
Jerusalem, December 4 (Hibya) – Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar held a phone call with Thai Foreign Minister Sihasak Phuangketkeow.
Minister Saar informed Phuangketkeow about the return of the body of the last Thai hostage, Sudthisak Rinthalak.
He noted that Rinthalak was killed on October 7 and that his body had been held hostage by Hamas. Saar said, “We extend our deepest condolences to the people of Thailand and to his family.”
Saar also pledged that assistance and social support would be provided to the family, as is done for Israeli terror victims and other Thai victims. He added, “I expressed our sorrow over the tragic flooding in Thailand, which caused numerous casualties and extensive damage.”
