Saar: We will continue to strengthen Israel-Somaliland relations
Tel Aviv, June 15 (Hibya) - Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar announced that he hosted Somaliland President Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi (Irro) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs during his official visit to Jerusalem for the opening of the Somaliland Embassy.

Saar stated that the visit was of historic significance for relations between Israel and Somaliland and expressed his satisfaction at contributing to the development of ties between the two sides.
Noting that Israel-Somaliland relations are based not only on cooperation between governments but also on a strong friendship between their peoples, Saar said, “I am proud to have the privilege of writing the first pages of the story of the Israel-Somaliland relationship.”
Emphasizing that cooperation between the two countries will continue, Saar added, “We will continue to strengthen this friendship for the benefit of both nations.”
