Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov held a meeting with U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau to assess the future of bilateral relations.

Commenting on the content of the meeting, Saidov said, “Our discussions primarily focused on ensuring the timely and effective implementation of all agreements reached at the highest level, as well as putting new promising projects on the agenda.”

Noting that the diplomatic roadmap for 2026 was also discussed, Minister Saidov concluded his remarks by saying, “We exchanged views on the bilateral agenda for 2026, reaffirming our shared commitment to further strengthening the enhanced strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and the United States.”
