Sandu: We are grateful for Lithuania’s continued support for Moldova’s progress
Chisinau, May 18 (Hibya)- Moldovan President Maia Sandu announced that she held a phone conversation with Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda.
Moldovan President Maia Sandu stated that they discussed her country’s European Union process during the conversation.
Referring to the content of the conversation, Sandu said, “I spoke by phone with President Gitanas Nauseda to discuss the next steps in Moldova’s European journey.”
Emphasizing the criteria of the process, Sandu stated, “We are committed to focusing on a merit-based process and what it requires.”
Thanking Lithuania, Sandu said, “We are grateful for Lithuania’s continued support for Moldova’s progress.”
