Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

President of Moldova Sandu said she considers it an honor to have the opportunity to speak before the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. During the period in which Moldova holds the Presidency of the Committee of Ministers, she addressed the impact of the wars facing Europe on democracies and ways to safeguard peace and freedom. Sandu stressed that she is particularly concerned about the situation of young people:

“If democracies want to be resilient against manipulation, we must protect the freedom and well-being of young minds in the digital sphere. Therefore, we must take action.”

The President drew attention to the need for a comprehensive legal instrument to take effective measures against foreign information manipulation and interference, noting that Moldova will advance this responsibility during its presidency.

Sandu also commemorated the victims of the Holocaust:

“The Holocaust did not begin with gas chambers; it began with words—by eroding empathy and normalizing exclusion. The promise of ‘Never Again’ does not sustain itself; we must renew it here and now through our actions.”
