Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof published a congratulatory message regarding the performance of Dutch athletes following the conclusion of the Winter Olympics.

Highlighting the number of medals won, Schoof said, “With sixteen gold, seven silver and three bronze medals, this has been the most successful Winter Olympics so far.”

Thanking the team members and everyone involved in the organization, Schoof stated, “I would like to congratulate all the athletes who won medals here and thank everyone at NOC-NSF and all members of TeamNL: you can be incredibly proud of what you achieved in Milan. Fantastic.”
