Dutch Prime Minister Schoof stated that important steps continued to be taken at the "Volunteers Coalition" meeting held in Paris. He pointed out that European countries, with active support from the US, have taken responsibility for the security guarantees Ukraine needs, saying, "Putin must sit at the negotiation table as soon as possible and show willingness to work for peace. Therefore, we will increase pressure on Russia."

Schoof also stated that he had a meeting with US President Donald Trump, saying, "We also discussed how we can apply pressure on Russia together with the United States. The most important thing is the continuation of support for a strong Ukrainian army. Additionally, the military planning process is now complete, and we know what European countries can do."

Schoof emphasized that the Netherlands will continue to take responsibility for supporting Ukraine, saying, "We will make any decisions regarding our contribution to security guarantees very carefully in close consultation with the House of Representatives."
