Ukrainian President Zelensky had a long and detailed conversation with U.S. President Donald Trump.

Zelensky noted that during the meeting, with the participation of European leaders, they discussed how to achieve real peace: "We considered different options, and the most important is to end the war by applying strong pressure, especially through economic measures. The key to peace is to deprive Russia's war machine of money and resources."

Zelensky emphasized that maximum protection of Ukraine's skies was also addressed: "Until peace comes, Ukrainians must not remain constantly at the mercy of Russian attacks. Russian missiles and drones must not take lives. Ukraine proposed a format, to be submitted to the United States, to protect our skies."
