Sybiha meets with Moldovan President Sandu
Antalya, April 18 (Hibya) – Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha met with Moldovan President Maia Sandu in Antalya.
Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Sybiha announced that he held a meeting with Moldovan President Sandu in Antalya.
Sybiha stated that he provided information on the latest situation on the frontline in Ukraine, noting that Ukraine is maintaining its current positions and that more territory has been reclaimed from areas occupied by Russia since February.
It was also reported that the consequences of Russia’s recent missile and drone attacks on Ukrainian cities were discussed. Sybiha thanked President Sandu for her messages of support and solidarity with Ukraine.
The parties also discussed preparations for the Council of Europe Committee of Ministers meeting planned to be held in Chisinau on May 16–17. It was noted that steps toward establishing a special tribunal regarding the crime of aggression against Ukraine are expected to be addressed at the meeting.
It was also reported that various bilateral issues between the two countries were discussed during the meeting.
