Tajani: Developments in Venezuela are being closely monitored
Rome, Jan. 3 (Hibya) — Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said the situation is being monitored through the diplomatic mission in Caracas and that the Crisis Unit is operational.
Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Tajani stated that developments in Venezuela are being closely monitored in coordination with the diplomatic mission in Caracas.
Noting that special attention is being paid to the situation of the Italian community living in the country, Tajani added that Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni is regularly informed about the process.
Tajani also emphasized that the Crisis Unit within the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is active.
