Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha condemned the missile attack on King Khalid International Airport in Saudi Arabia, which killed 12 people and injured 309.

In his statement, Sybiha extended his condolences to the leadership and people of Saudi Arabia, the families of those killed, and the countries whose citizens were among the victims. He also wished the injured a speedy recovery.

Sybiha said attacks on civilian infrastructure constitute a clear violation of the fundamental principles of international law, including international humanitarian law, and stated that Ukraine stands in solidarity with Saudi Arabia.

Sybiha emphasized that Ukraine continues to support Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
