Ukraine strikes energy facilities in Russia’s Belgorod region
Moscow, Nov. 27 (Hibya) – The Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out missile strikes on energy facilities in the Belgorod region. Regional Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov announced that Ukrainian forces had attacked the region’s energy infrastructure.
Belgorod Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov stated on his Telegram channel: “Early this morning, the enemy launched further missile strikes on energy facilities. We will learn the extent of the damage this morning. Unfortunately, the situation is extremely tense. We are all at our posts, and as always, we will do our best to overcome all the difficulties we are facing today.”
The governor noted that Russian air defense forces intercepted airborne targets.
Last week, Ukraine carried out a series of attacks on energy facilities inside Russia. Around 800,000 people were left without electricity.
