Budrys: We support North Macedonia’s EU path
Vilnius, 27 November (Hibya) – Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kestutis Budrys said that they strongly support North Macedonia’s path toward European Union membership.
Minister Budrys said he was pleased to welcome North Macedonia’s Foreign Minister Timco Mucunski in Vilnius.
He stated that Lithuania and North Macedonia are close partners and NATO allies, noting that they are celebrating the 30th anniversary of their diplomatic relations this year.
Budrys emphasized that they continue working together to strengthen security, support Ukraine, and defend the rules-based international order.
“Lithuania strongly supports North Macedonia’s EU accession path. We are grateful for the solidarity North Macedonia has shown in the face of Belarus’ recent hybrid attacks against Lithuania.”
