Lahbib met with Egyptian Foreign Minister Abdelatty
Brussels, 27 November (Hibya) – EU Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib held a meeting with Egypt’s Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty.
Commissioner Lahbib thanked Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty for his warm welcome and the productive discussions.
She stated that during the meeting they emphasized the urgency of maintaining the ceasefire in Gaza, increasing humanitarian aid, and preserving the two-state solution. “Regarding Sudan, we expressed the need for a political solution to ensure humanitarian access and put an end to the suffering,” she added.
