UN Secretary-General Guterres calls for solidarity
New York, December 26 (Hibya) – United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres emphasized that the UN’s work in humanitarian assistance, human rights and peace requires the collective contribution of the entire world.
UN Secretary-General Guterres stated that the United Nations contributes every day to helping people around the world realize their human rights.
Noting that efforts are carried out in many areas, from food assistance and shelter to supporting education and protecting the environment, Guterres said: “But we cannot do this alone. This work depends on everyone taking a stand, everywhere.”
