UNICEF Executive Director Russell thanks South Korea
New York, March 17 (Hibya) - UNICEF Executive Director Catherine Russell stated during her meeting with South Korean Prime Minister Min-Seok Kim that the humanitarian aid provided by South Korea has saved the lives of millions of children.
United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) Executive Director Catherine Russell met with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea, Min-Seok Kim.
During the meeting, South Korea’s global contributions to children's rights and humanitarian aid were discussed. Expressing her gratitude to Prime Minister Kim, Russell said, "I was honored to meet with His Excellency Min-Seok Kim, Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea. I thanked him for his leadership and for our strong partnership with the Republic of Korea."
Highlighting the tangible impact of South Korea’s support on the ground, Russell added, "This support has saved the lives of millions of children around the world through humanitarian aid and by building resilience."
