UNRWA: 33,000 Palestinian refugees forcibly displaced in northwest West Bank
Gaza, January 23 (Hibya) – Following Israel’s “Iron Wall” operation, refugee camps were emptied; UNRWA continues to provide services.
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) announced that approximately 33,000 Palestinian refugees were forcibly displaced in the northwest of the West Bank.
According to the information provided, Israel’s military operation dubbed “Iron Wall” was launched a year ago; following the operation, camps were emptied due to forced evacuations and demolitions.
UNRWA said it is calling for the return of refugees and the resumption of services.
