UNRWA: Humanitarian conditions across Gaza remain dire
New York, February 19 (Hibya) - The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) reported that humanitarian conditions across Gaza remain dire and that restrictions on access to humanitarian aid continue.
In a statement, UNRWA said that humanitarian conditions throughout Gaza continue to be severe and that restrictions on access to humanitarian assistance persist.
“UNRWA continues to provide displaced people with essential health services, education, shelter, food assistance, and protection services through a unique network and operational reach,” the statement said, noting that the scale of needs currently exceeds what is permitted.
