Upward trend in markets across the Americas
Istanbul, September 14 (Hibya) - Upward momentum stood out in equity markets across the Americas.
The technology-heavy Nasdaq 100 index rose 0.91 percent to 29,368.44 points, while Canada's benchmark S&P/TSX index gained 0.54 percent to reach 35,697.49 points.
The S&P Lima General index, representing Peru's stock market, ended the day at 34,836.62 points with a gain of 0.71 percent. In South American markets, Colombia's COLCAP index led the declines, falling 1.41 percent.
