Foreign Minister Weel said that the Netherlands welcomes the second phase of President Trump’s comprehensive plan, including steps that envisage the establishment of the Palestinian Committee.

Weel stated: “This is an important next step toward sustainable peace in Gaza, where Hamas is disarmed and plays no role in future governance.”

Expressing gratitude to the United States, Qatar, Egypt, and Türkiye for their negotiation efforts and capabilities that enabled this significant progress, Weel said: “The Netherlands is ready to contribute to the full implementation of the peace plan.”
