Zakharova: The attack on the Arctic Metagaz vessel is a violation of international law
Moscow, March 12 (Hibya) - Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova stated that the drone attack carried out on March 3 against the civilian commercial vessel Arctic Metagaz in the Mediterranean Sea is a serious violation of international law.
Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova made a statement regarding the attack targeting a civilian commercial vessel in the Mediterranean.
Drawing attention to the nature of the attack, Zakharova said: “The unmanned aerial vehicle attack on the civilian commercial vessel Arctic Metagaz in the Mediterranean Sea on March 3 is a serious violation of international law and could potentially lead to serious consequences.”
Stating that the incident constitutes a terrorist attack, Zakharova added: “In other words, this is a terrorist attack and a war crime.”
