Following his meeting with the negotiating team, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky provided information on the multifaceted relations and strategic preparations being conducted with the United States.

Emphasizing the importance of the security agreement, Zelensky said: “I have instructed that the document on U.S. security guarantees for Ukraine be finalized and submitted for consideration at the highest level. It must be a document of historical significance, and the text is now reaching that level.”

Referring to diplomatic contacts aimed at ending the war, Zelensky stated: “We understand that the American side is in contact with Russia regarding the political framework to end the war. We have defined our vision, and clear feedback must be obtained from Russia.”

Arguing that pressure on Russia should be increased, Zelensky concluded: “If they choose war, the world should respond by reducing Russia’s export revenues to the greatest possible extent.”
