Kyiv, July 1 (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that he has arrived in Ireland to attend the opening ceremony of Ireland's Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

Zelensky said that during the visit he will hold meetings with Irish Prime Minister Micheál Martin and President of the European Council António Costa, adding: "Every day, Ukraine proves that it deserves to be an equal part of our common European home. During Ireland's Presidency of the Council of the European Union, we hope to achieve tangible progress on our path to membership and open all negotiating clusters."
