Zelensky: Intensive care units in hospitals are located underground
Kyiv, November 11 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed his gratitude to the doctors who save citizens injured daily in Russian drone and artillery attacks.
President Zelensky stated that one of the hospitals in Kherson continues to operate in a zone under constant bombardment. He said he had spoken with the doctors and patients of the hospital and emphasized that the intensive care unit is located underground so that medical staff can work safely and treat those injured in daily Russian attacks. Zelensky thanked all doctors and healthcare workers who continue to save Ukrainian lives despite the difficult conditions.
According to a report he received on the construction of new medical infrastructure in the Kherson region, Zelensky announced that 11 facilities already have underground hospitals. He stated, “While the enemy seeks to take lives, these efforts are of great importance for saving them.”
